Brandon Shamhart

I grew up in Southern Ohio with a passion for the outdoors since birth. I give my Dad "Keith" credit for introducing me to the wonderful world of being a sportsman. Even before I can remember, my Father would take me small game hunting in the early fall and fishing farm ponds through the summer months. Since then I have hunted many different species across the United States and Canada, all the while meeting new people and gaining more knowledge about the sport. I have passed that passion on to many different young people through my travels, which gives me more gratification than words can describe. I appreciate every second I spend in the woods and on the water and for that Dad, I thank you. I am grateful to spend my life doing what I love and experiencing these moments with so many great viewers. Thanks and good luck!

Being born and raised on the family farm in Southern Ohio I have enjoyed the outdoors since I started shooting squirrels at 8 years old with my Dad. Our family vacations were always spent in Canada fishing or in Virginia deer and turkey hunting where I harvested my first deer. In the late 80’s and early 90’s I was a member of the amateur trap shooting association. I competed in many different states where my biggest win was the Dixie Grand in Savannah in 1993. Since then I have fueled my passion of bow hunting by being fortunate enough to travel across the United States and Canada hunting many different species and meeting new life long friends along the way. Introducing young people into the outdoors is one of the most rewarding things that I have ever done. I have had the chance to be with at least 8 people when they have taken their first deer, I have enjoyed every one of these but my favorite hunt was with my son when he harvested an 8 point with his bow when he was only 8 years old. I took it to the next level a few years ago when I purchased a video camera and started filming hunts. This gives me the opportunity to spend more time with family and friends together in the woods. My oldest son has now harvested several deer and turkey, we love to do anything outdoors together and are both looking forward to introducing my youngest son into this sport.

I have always had a love and respect for the outdoors. My dad started letting me shoot when I was 3. The feel of the rifle going off was amazing. The first time I killed my first squirrel I was hooked on hunting, and when I was 11 and I killed my first deer and I became addicted. I love every process that comes along with hunting, from preseason prep to after the kill clean up. I was raised to respect the animals we take from the woods, for the sacrifices they make are great. Now I enjoy passing all the traditions down to my 4 year old daughter, and starting the next generation of hunters. Seeing it from her eyes makes me fall in love with it all over again. I have been a tomboy my whole life and wouldn't have it any other way.... this girl is not afraid to get dirty, or mess up her hair! The most important thing is showing that women can get out there and bring 'em home just like the boys....cause GIRLS HUNT TOO ! :)

Tony Truman

Tony Truman was born and raised in the mountains of West Virginia. In the early 70's Tony and his dad were chasing white tails all over the state of West Virginia. Tony’s dad, Dale would take Tony on camping trips and show him how to be a true woodsman. When Tony and his father wasn’t chasing whitetails with his recurve they were digging ginseng or yellow root. Tony is a successful trapper and tracker of all sorts of game from big to small. Tony has tracked it all and he can always find Big Bucks for the Sudden Impact team to hunt.

Tim (preacher) Oakes

I cut my hunting teeth on ground squirrels with a pellet rifle at 10 yrs of age. I took my first deer, a 4 pt. buck at 13 and was hooked for life. I was raised in a family that loves and appreciates the outdoor lifestyle and all that goes with it. I just plain love to hunt and talk about my hero. As a young boy I read and dreamed about the life of D. Boone, the mountain men, fur trappers and life in the wilderness. Jeremiah Johnson is without rival my all time favorite movie. I am a born again Christian and an ordained Free Will Baptist minister. It is our hope and prayer that as I share my lifestyle with you that we will in some way be a blessing to you. By the way my hero is Jesus Christ. GOD BLESS!!!
